I made a short (by KR standards) flight of 75 miles today to eat some
chili and hot dogs. I left a switch on after yesterdays flight and
ran down the backup battery, a no-go situation. Off to the farm
store to get a replacement and I was wheels up by 12 noon. As fast
as the KR is they were still out of hot dogs when I arrived but had
plenty of chili and dessert.

Who should I chance to meet but Steve Eberhart from Evansville,
Indiana. Steve is the person that made the fabulous wing section for
the new wing to be tested in the wind tunnel. Steve and his wife had
flown over in there awesome looking RV. Steve still keeps track of
he KR crowd even though he went over to the dark side years
ago. Good to see Steve again.

Coming home I went up a nice cool 9500 and danced among the scattered
puffys that topped at 10,500. Keep building. Life is good...............
