Well the box is aluminum, so maybe that's "as good" as ckicken wire? I don't know about the box, but I CAN tell you that they ship you wire that is NOT shielded! That should have been my first clue. But really, I have absolutely NO trace of noise where my strobe box is now, and to be honest, I've flown in Wichita spam cans that had an absolutely phenomenal amount of strobe whine. Still, the flash rate is so dang slow that I'll probably buy a Whelen Comet Flash (or whatever it's called) before I actually fly. I should mention that the Kuntzlemann strobe is intended for ultralight guys, where radio interference is usually not a big deal...
