........sorry. Did not intend to sound so crass. I have just been watching grams and ounces of weight in pursuit of performance. But 47# is more than one of the Wannabee's wings weigh..... I guess if you want it all and you are willing to pay the penalty that is your choice.

The instrument panel weighs 47 pounds including everything you see in the diagram, G-meter, Rate of turn, DG, Hor, inverter (2#), Rate of climb, airspeed, Compass, Omni, Nav/Com, Transponder, Loran, Auto pilot, circuit breakers, engine monitor, fuel gages, marker beacon, audio panel, light dimmer and misc other switches. A lot of work went into getting that functionality in a 50 pound weight budget. The CG at gross weight is exactly in the center of the allowable range. The zero fuel weight and balance is about a half inch in front of the cg range so after moving one of the batteries I should be perfect. I'll wait till the final weight and balance to make that adjustment. The preliminary weight and balance is on my website at: http://flyboybob.com/web_pages/kr2/weight_and_balance_1.htm.
