You did not say which engine you plan to use or if you are building a KR2 or a KR2s. I'll give you my OPINION anyway. First, if you have the KR2 plans and are planing on building a KR2, I'd advise you to order the 2s suppliment and build the 2s. The 2s is probably the longest you need to make it unless you plan to use a Continental 0-200 or a Corvair. There are several KRs flying that have been lengthened 24 inches over the standard KR2 but that is probably too long if you plan on using a VW or similar. I think the 2s plans address most of the problems (if you want to call them problems) that people found in the KR2. The 2s should handle the 0-200 or Corvair guite well also. Bottom line, build the KR2s and stick to the plans. You will find that you will build it faster that way and should end up with a very nice flying airplane. Larry Flesner Carterville, Illinois, USA
