Here are the finished tanks from Dana. All that is left to be done is install the top panel and sending unit.

Doesn't look like much. > > http://rvflying.tripod.com/krtankfinish1.jpg > > This pic shows the inside vent line fitting and fuel line pickup elbow. > Notice on the elbow I used an RV trick and made a anti rotation bracket. > Without this, when you tighten the outside nut you tend to turn the elbow > thereby raising the aft portion of your pickup line off the bottom of the > tank. Here you can > see the vent line pointing down so all you have to do is run a straight 1/4" > line down through the wing for venting. In this one you can also see the > run of the vent line itself and it's position in the forward most outboard > corner of the tank. It is proseal to alleviate vibration. This is also a > good pic showing the baffles and their height 1" below the top of the tank. > > http://rvflying.tripod.com/krtankfinish4.jpg > > And what is a tank without a aviation quick drain? > > http://rvflying.tripod.com/krtankfinish5.jpg > > This is the 20" side, 5" front, 3" rear shot showing the wing profile and > how it will sit in your wing between the spars. This also shows the 3" rear centered with the 5" front, much more > appropriate for the new airfoil than the RAF48. > > http://rvflying.tripod.com/krtankfinish6.jpg > > If you want to post this on the KRNet, feel free to do so. > > Dana Overall Mark Jones (N886MJ) Wales, WI USA E-mail me at [email protected] Visit my KR-2S CorvAIRCRAFT web site at http://mywebpage.netscape.com/n886mj/homepage.html
