Dan, let me get this straight.  Are you encouraging a builder to use 
untreated stock alum as wing attach fittings?  Check the archives, there is 
a ton of information.  This comes up a couple times a year but is usually 
limited to "should I "reheat treat" my WAF after drilling.

If you are encouraging the use of untreated, would you please forward to the 
list your documentation that untreated is better than treated.  I don't mean 
to sound short, but let's not get dangerous.
