Well, I would point you to http://www.krgathering.org
but it seems to be down right now. The short version
(as seen on http://www.krnet.org) is:

The "Official" 2003 KR Gathering will be in Red Oak,
Iowa, with Mike/Terry Garbez and Steve/Linda Bennett
hosting the affair, on Sept. 12-13. See lots of
details, including things for your family to do while
YOU're busy drooling over KRs, at 2003 KR Gathering .
The short version is that the Red Oak Municipal
Airport (RDK) is located 1/2 mile west of town at 1674
200th Street Red Oak, IA 51566 phone is (712) 623-6523
or 41 00.63N 95 15.59W U122.8.
There are two motels, they are The Red Coach Inn (712)
623-4864, and the Super 8 Motel 1-800-800-8000. Both
are within 1 1/2 miles of the airport. Motel
reservations can be made anytime now (the sooner the
better). Also the banquet will be held Saturday
evening at the Red Coach Inn Banquet Room. If you have
any questions e-mail Mike Garbez at [email protected].
Being the lazy soul that I am, I already have
reservations for the Red Coach, at a pretty nice price
too, I might add (something like $45).
You can expect about 10-20 KRs to fly in for the
Gathering, depending on the weather and whether or not
the FAA has shut down general aviation at the time.
This is THE place to put your hands on real KR
aircraft so don't miss it! If you're light and lucky,
you might just get a ride in one. You won't likely
forget it soon either. The die-hards will arrive on
Thursday, and I sincerely hope to be one of the guys
FLYING this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still not going to make it myself, hopefully I'll see
some of you at the VA EAA on Sept 20th though.
