Colin, I agree with Lynn in that adding any undue weigth aft in a KR is not
a good thing. Looking back at second post, you mention the pushtubes are
secured to the bellcrank using AN3 bolts. In a effort to understand your
install, how is this being accomplished; are you drilling through the tube
and inserting the bolt or are you using rod end bearings on the ends of the
pushtubes?

I'll be back on the road very shortly, it's a football thing, and be gone
all day and probably spending the night at Steve Eberhart's house. For
those you who don't know Steve, he is the one who worked closely in the
design of the new airfoil and built up the most beautiful scale wing for the
wind tunnel testing you would ever see.

You will also want to keep this thread open for dialogue with the multitude
of builders who are offline right now attending the gathering.

I can say one thing, if you decide to go another route, the thin walled,
larger diameter tubes with alum. rod end bearing inserts are very light. I
can provide a parts list for you to look at to assist you in any manner
possible. Course it could just muddy the water up even more:-)

Man, I wish I was at the gathering!!!!!
