Justin, Scott was referring to the fact that if you change from the stub wing 
straight fuselage departure, to a constant dihedral from the centerline of the 
aircraft, you will raise the wing relative to the ground, in essence bringing 
the aircraft closer to the ground IF the attachment of the gear is to the spar, 
as in the Diehl gear. Grove gear mounts below the fuselage and would have to 
address the problem of the gradually increasing spacing as it went outboard. I 
personally think this would create alot more work, and I am not sure there 
would be any stability increase for the effort.
