My personal thought after my 2 1/2 hours I have done in my KR the past week and a half and the 1 1/2 hours I have had in two other KRs is that pitch sensitivity is a complete non issue. I have not flown a 2S yet, but with my experience so far, if I were to build a new KR today I wouldn't even bother stretching it and adding the extra weight. My guess is that the people that have a problem with the pitch sensitivity either have their C.G. to far aft, their sticks are to short, or they have been flying spam cans to long and haven't taken the fifteen minutes to get used to a KR. I still think a KR is every bit as easy to fly as a 152.
Keep in mind that I am still a very low time KR pilot and I haven't flown near gross weight yet so I am certainly not the authority on this issue. -----Original Message----- From: Dan Heath <[email protected]> Sent: Oct 8, 2003 5:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: KR>has anyone had experience adding span to the horizontal stabilizerafter its finished? I don't think that very many people worry about it much AFTER it is finished Then, they just fly it. N64KR Daniel R. Heath - Columbia, SC [email protected] See you in Mt.
