Well I jumped into the water (or should I say air) today by purchasing Dr
Dean's KR2S started project from Mark Jones. I have yet to take delivery as I
did not want to haul it in the rain, but will wait for good weather. As I have
read thru the various projects it had all the little changes I would have made,
so it seemed to be destiny. I have cut 6 mos. to a year off the project and
saved some $$ too. I am sure as time goes by you will see me pleading for
knowledge from the group.
I would like to make a statement as to the reasons I leaned to the KR. One
is the web page database of information and this group! The comparable planes
had no where near the information out there as the KR has and that must say
something about the people, and ability of this project and design. Second is
that wonderful Corvair engine that I will be using. The knowledge base, back
up and ease of maintenance will make it a very economical and dependable plane.
I am sure I will get to know W. Wynne and his ideas are proven. That is and
will also be a great peace of mind.

For those that are unfamiliar with his project - this is it's current state.

This is an example of its assembly and what led me to Mark

Thanks to those who have gone before and left a clear trail.

Safe Flying to ya!
