Frank, Thank-you for your response. I must admit, I'm a little skeptical as I've had several negative responses. I really want to build a wooden aircraft, and I think I've narrowed my choices to the KR2S or a GP-4 (there don't seem to be many choices available). I really don't want to buy the kits, and would like to fabricate my own from the plans. Are the KR2S plans sufficiently detailed to allow this, or are they simply assembly plans that require you to purchase the parts prefabricated? Thank-you again for your insight.

Any comments would be most appreciated. Greg, The KR-2 and 2S plans are very good. That is not the case for the KR-1 plans. Long ago I bought a set of KR-1 plans because they were cheap and I thought I'd get an idea of how difficult building it would be. Trust me, there is no comparison. I think you'll find the KR-2 plans excellent, but I cannot say the same for the KR-1 plans. ===== Frank Ross, EAA Chapter 35, San Geronimo, TX RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, England UK [email protected] __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
