Other than the info that I've already posted at http://www.krnet.org/as504x/
, there's no new news.  I don't know of anybody else flying the new wing
other than Troy and Dean, although there will be several in 2004, Germany's
Herbert Fuhle among them.  Troy is still quite happy with it, and Dean never
had the RAF48 to compare it to on his so he really has no basis for
comparison.  I personally know of not one single downside to the new
airfoil, other than what Dan said, which is that it would be best to take
care with surface finish, which most builders pay particular attention to
anyway, from what I've seen...
