Heh Colin, I ran accross an article that was a strength analysis done on the lap and shoulder belt attachments, done specicly for the KR-2. I can bottom line it for you- the article recommended 5/16 fasteners. It came up with the same numbers I arrived at. The analysis was done by a registered and licensed Mechanical engineer.
