In planning my glass panel, the use of Bob's switchable ebuss with a diode between my main buss and the ebuss provides direct current to what I put on my ebuss while switching all other circuits out of the loop. In my case, redundancy is an issue and The Book is an absolute required book for you aviation construction library.
