  Your agent will probbly laugh when you tell him experimental . With an
aircraft certified engine it may be cheeper . I have found insurance
generally costs more for experimental aircraft if you canm get it at all .
What usually brings the costs down are hours and additional ratings , such
as an instument rating . Good luck on finding a kr2 with a 500lb cabin load
. Your thinking on the 150 is right on , but you better check the usefull
load of that bird as i think you will be over its useful load with full
