KRNetters,
I discovered a little timesaver when making fiberglass
parts, laid over Duct Tape:
Spread a thin coat of wax- I used McGuire's pure
Canuba Wax- over the duct tape, let it dry then wipe
the duct tape clean.
Then proceed as you normally would by:
Squeeging the resin into the plys over plastic.
Lay the wetted out plys and plastic onto the tool.
Let it fully cure.
You'll find that the wax really helps the duct tape
release the parts even better and the parts don't show
so much of the duct tape pattern.
Happy Building!
