RE: How far is it from the bottom of your panel to the floor? The bottom of the panel is 18.5" off the floor. I am 5'9" and there is no padding on the seats, and our seats are made to allow us to sit about 1" off the bottom of the floor. There is a section on the site on how we made the seats. With the seat cushions, there is not as much clearance because the back cushion pushes you a little more forward in the cockpit.
