Guys,
I'm working at getting my marker lights in the tips. I was wondering if
the clear plastic that nearly everything comes in could be heated and
shaped to a mold to form a tip lens. I just pulled some packages out of
the recycle box that has some good size flat sheet and is pretty thick.
I'm thinking that it is thick enough for strength in the complex curves
that would be on the tip of the wing. Any one with any experience on how
this stuff is molded to form the packages that you get in the store?
I had enough trouble with lexan for landing light lens to know that I
don't want to try that for tip lens.
                                Thanks
