Netters,

Here is a response to a question that I presented to Poly Fiber regarding

Hi Dan,

We prefer your prayers to your curses. Use it that way.
Keep one thing in mind. As you apply it and wet sand, you are adding
moisture to the system. It is cold right now most everywhere and water
takes a long time to evaporate in cold and humid environments. Allow the
Smooth Prime plenty of time to dry~ you might even need to use a
dehumidifier
to remove the water from the system. It is imperative that this is done
before you
apply the epoxy primer. I'm talking make it 80 degrees for several days.
Otherwise,
the water will be sealed into the primer and top coat.

Other than that, good fortune to you.

Regards,

Greg

I am using UV Smooth Prime. I am sorry to say that I have found it very
difficult to use, as directed, so I tried something new. I mixed it right
out of the can in a small quantity and spread it over the pin holes as you
would do with spot putty. It was like working with drywall mud. It went on
very well, and It is extremely easy to use like this.

Here is my question. I know that the directions say that it cannot be wet
sanded. I have been wet sanding it with 220 grit and have only seen better
results. What are the problems caused by wet sanding?

If I can continue to use it like this, it is the answer to my prayers
instead of the subject of my cursing.

Thank you for your time,
