Is this engine good for use in a KR2? Can any one help me! <<

You do not want a 140 hp Corvair engine for flight purposes, but you CAN go
ahead and buy it, and sell the 140 heads to a Corvair nut and trade them for
110 hp heads. The 140 engine has valves that are prone to falling out, and
don't put out as much power at 3600 as the 110. 140's are much more
valuable to them, and 110's are more plentiful, so that's not a bad deal.
It will certainly get you going. You're going to have to tear it down
anyway, so I'd jump on it if the price is right. For more info, visit
http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/corvair/donors.html . I paid exactly $100
for each of the four that I have, although I know of people who've spent as
much as $500. $100-$250 is more common. In the grand scheme of things, if
you paid $300 for it, that's still only about 10% of the overall price of
the completed engine cost. But people are usually pretty proud of the
140's, so I doubt you'll buy it for less than $500. You need to join the
CorvAircraft list, visit http://www.corvaircraft.com/ . Engines pop up all
over the country there, and we tend to share the sources...
