>The KR is a great plane, but I have a problem with the "regular shop tools"

I have just started (Nov.) on a KR-2S and have spent the winter turning out
all the metal fittings (except the rudder pedals and engine mount) with a
tabletop drill press and t/t bandsaw (59") (both Ryobi) and regular hand tools,
Dremel tool, files, & sanding sticks mostly. Did 1 or 2 each night while
watching
the history channel and am now working on the tail feathers (wood). This is
all in an apartment, still looking for a garage.
