Did Troy mention anything about the new wing degrading his
takeoff and climbout performance?  If not, it's a non issue.
On a go-around you'll be operating at the same speeds as 
a takeoff and climbout.

As a side note, I made a landing last week where I wasn't
trying to land short, just a normal landing.  I was even a
bit high on approach and probably 5+ mph fast on the
flare.  I used moderate braking at the end of the rollout.
I asked the tower what the distance to the turnoff was and
they replied  1700 feet.  I was using my speed brake as always.
