'long-hub' VW conversion This hub qualifies as long. It fits all the way to the retaining ring. Do you have any thoughts on the windage tray that is not present. The type 2 tray was bolted to the oil pick up. The type 4 oil pick up did not have a bolt hole and no windage tray. Could it be that the type 4 uses the oil splash to better lub the cam and bearings?
