Phil,

It was Brian Kraut who discussed it with Dan, but I believe Brian is making
his own gear legs and brackets because Dan did not recommend adding length
to the legs with the Diehl alum brackets.  I actually cut an inch or two off
of my nose gear strut to level my KR, but the extra clearence wouldn't hurt
either.  Good luck.
