The flywheel is a pretty big diameter.  I would suspect that you would be
running the alternator at about three times normal speed.

What's the chances of making a bracket to mount a GM self contained unit.
They put out some serious juice if you have room under the cowl. No belt? No
problem, press off the pulley and fit a starter gear to run off the
flywheel.
