Phil,

My gut tells me that the METHOD of trim for the KR, whether it be
tab on the tail or internal pressure on the controls, has little if
anything to do with the stability charactistics of the KR. That is
all determined by airfoil shape and angle, distance between wing
and tail surfaces, size of the flying surfaces, etc.

Without knowing what "flying his KR hands off with NO problem"
really means I don't know if his KR flies any better than mine.
I have "NO problem" flying my KR hands off in good weather (calm
air) but only for 30 seconds or so. It then begins to stray off pitch
and as it does so the divergence accelerates. I never feel like I'm
having to fight the aircraft to retain control, even in rough air, but
long term "hands off" pitch stability just isn't there.

77+ hours and still lovin' it........
