Jack, I feel the same as you about attending the Gatherings. This is my 15th consecutive Gathering. I've made every one since 1990. After reading your post something crossed my mind that I thought I'd throw out to attendees flying to St.Louis. There MAY be a rail service now from the St.Louis (Lambert) airport to the Mid-Continent airport 23 miles east of St.Louis. That's the new airport tied to Scott AFB. If that's the case you could take the rail and maybe pick up a car at Mid-Continent and miss ALL of the St.Louis traffic. Mid-Continent is located right on I-64 just 50 miles from Mt.Vernon. Maybe someone in the St.Louis (hint: J.F.) would be so kind as to check it out and make a post with the info and it could be placed on the Gathering web page also. Thanks, Larry Flesner
