I like the Jabiru engine as well, I don't like it's price tag though. If I could find a desent 2nd hand one I'd be interested. Until then, the Corvair, even thought I'd probably have to get it imported, still wins hands down. Cheers. With those numbers I'll have to stay away from the diesel for now. I just saw a clip on the news tonight about the new Volkswagen with a V12 engine, definitely a radical change in engineering with that vehicle. Looked like something from the Motor Works, only on steroids. Like you I have a long way to go before engine mounting but would like to have some idea of what I have to work with, numbers wise.
