I don't think the FAA cares a hoot what the plans # is. My DAR never asked to see the plans and the paperwork for the FAA to register your project says you can assign any serial number you want and suggests many builders will use their social security #. I used some of the numbers from my plans for the aircraft serial number but they were just so much ink on the paper as far as the FAA was concerned. As for building only one aircraft from a set of plans, that's between you and RR. You sign a statement agreeing to that stipulation but who's going to know and who's going to enforce it? Let your conscience be your guide. The FAA is not the "copywrite" police and they aren't going to enforce your agreement with RR. Don't forget to go to the Gathering website and print out the flyer to take to airports to get the word out. Larry Flesner
