Visit www.flycorvair.com to find William Wynne's Corvair manual. It will be the best bang for your buck that you will spend building your airplane. The deal with the '64 is that it has thinner cylinder walls, so the heads and case need to be bored to fit the '65 and later cylinders that are far more common, but I suppose it might could be made to work. You'll also need to join the CorvAircraft list by sending an email to [email protected] , and then replying to the subsequent confirmation email. Ask that question there and you will get a definitive answer. That list is very similar to KRnet, with several Corvair experts, including William Wynne himself...
