After waiting around until 11:00 am for the waether to clear my daughter and
I flew off to Thomasville for the local Fly-In. Made the 40 mile trip in
about 15 minutes. This is the first flight with wheel pants on. I still dont
have speed numbers but I am sure that is is a little faster - at least it
LOOKS faster. I met a couple guys out there that are building Corvair
conversions for their airplanes. Ate a couple hot dogs, chewed the fat, and
then came
home. Of course I did give them all a 200mph flyby to show off a little.
