It's great fun flying with the KR bunch. The majority of KR pilots I've flown around handle their planes much better than the average pilot.
Just arrived in Tucson following the Copperstate Fly-in in Casa Grande, AZ. It was great to get to see some of the KR Gang there too. On arrival I was met by a gentleman wearing MVN KR shirt. Was also joined by Lee Van Dyke, Troy Johnson, John Roffey and others for some KR chat during the day Saturday. The KRs also faired well in the judging. Steve Glover and I both took home plaques for 1 and 2 in Best Custom Wood Aircraft awards. That's 3 years running that a KR has taken Best Custom Wood Aircraft at Copperstate! -Jeff -- "Tommy Waymack" <[email protected]> wrote: Ok lets be fair. The KR pilots are pretty good flyers.I really enjoy the flying at the gathering.Being in the pattern and in close sometimes with other KR pilots can be pretty exiting.Hey Jeff enjoyed your flying and the KR that was really hauling it was the KR1 I think or maybe JF could be 1MR.At 1000AGL it just looks great. The parade to the parade was what it must have looked like on D-day.Being number eight out of 9 gives you an unfogettable veiw.Flying the photo shoot was a good exercise in getting 5 or 6 airplanes in one place at the same time with out occupying the same airspace. Thanks for all the safe attitudes and good airwork.Tommy W. _______________________________________ to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to [email protected] please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html ________________________________________________________________ Speed up your surfing with Juno SpeedBand.
