Steve and I were the only KRs there, but we faired pretty well in the judging.
There were a number of the KR crowd there to keep us company (get your planes
finished and flying guys!).

One interesting experience from Copperstate. A guy chatting with Steve Glover
was lamenting having sold his KR project several years ago. He told Steve that
he had sold it to some guy in NM named Scott and wondered if he knew the guy.
Steve pointed three rows back and told him I was over there with my KR. This
was the guy that started the project that I bought 9 years ago and have been
flying for the last 7 years. He was like a proud papa seeing his old project
there as a real flying machine. It was a very happy reunion.

Glad to hear so many KRs are getting to Copperstate.
When I was in PHX there were only a couple each time.
Those folks need to see a REAL home-built for a
change.
