Larry & others, The 1/4" axle was a guess on my part since I had no way of actually measuring it. I will have on of these assemblies in my hands by this time next week and I will get the exact specs on the Net then. As light as the tail is on a KR, I would have thought that size axle being that short would be more than adequate. I say this because the Diehl nose gear axle is an AN-3 bolt and I have never heard of the axle breaking on the Diehl nosegear.
