I have a dilemma. The rod end bearing assym. I am using for my elevator hinges are taking up a space of 1.5 inches without the washers. Dr. Dean's drawing shows washers adding about 1/8 inch. The space between the elevator spar and the rear spar of the horizontal stab. is 1.5 inches. How do I accomodate the extra needed space? I want to build the entire horizontal stab and elevator at one glass up with the hinges installed. Then cut out the elevator and finish the trailing and leading edges respectfully. I looked on the archive and found nothing about this problem. Sorry but I do remember some talk of this problem somewhere but can't find it. MAN I GOT TO GET THIS GOING.
