I happened to stumble on the website of a Kansas air museum which had pictures of two KR-1s.
http://www.cityofliberal.com/airmuseum/aircraft/homebuilt/index.html At least one of them I recognized right away as Sam Bailey's. I know he had at least two of them, but unsure whether the other one pictured was his as well. Anyway, most of you recall that he was trying to sell his 2 KR-1s some time ago. Guess he ended up either donating (or maybe loaning?) at least one to the museum. Really, too bad, I think, to see such a great little airplane not being enjoyed by someone other than just to look at. Liability could have been a factor in his decision.
