We were at the airport Wednesday morning and one of founding fathers of our EAA Chapter, 40th anniversary this year, and restorer of many antique aircraft came over to get a good look. When Bill started up that Corvair, he could hardly believe how smooth it ran. This guy rarely gets pumped up over experimental airplanes, in particular, a KR, but he was almost in awe over Bill's plane.
