That tube is stainless, so I don't expect it to wear out too soon.  It was
temporary though, and my plan was to mount it to the airbox, with scat
tubing running to a shorter tube welded to the muff itself.  I tried to roll
that muff out of .016" stainless, but it's going to have to be something
like .006" instead.  I'll have to find some of that now, but in the
meantime, I'm going to use some .016" aluminum for testing.
