Today was eventful. I flew with the new Sensnich prop out to a small grass
field south of Saint Augustine FL where Dan Weesman has his mone and hanger.
He is working on a 3100 Corvair powered "Cleanex" - a clean Sonex. This is
the first grass strip Ive been in with the KR. 2600 feet was no problem at
all. Bob Lester was visiting the area to check out new properties so we all
went for lunch and had a good time. Left there about 4:30 pm and flew home -
about a 45 minute flight. The new prop has much better acceleration and
did fine in the grass - better than my Prince would have done. Ill do more
testing a get yall such numbers soon. All three props Ive tested work very
well with slight diifferences in performance. There is no perfect prop -
just
good compromises - but there are bad props....be wise and learn from other
peoples trials and testings.
Ill be doing more work on 41768 in the next few weeks and give some
updates when I can.
