Some folks use only 8 bolts. When a spacer (crush spacer) is inserted between 
the WAF's, then you would only use 8 bolts for both wings.

- when the bolt head pushes on wood (then you use a wood washer)
- when you need to correct for a slope under the bolt head (in which case 
you make an asymmetrical washer/spacer to correct the slope ).

Moreover, just to make your life more difficult, you are allowed only two 
washers under the nuts. And thin ones, at that.

Should the 8 bolts that actually hold the wings together have a washer
under the bolt head as well as the nut, or just under the nut???
