I'm sure this has been said before too, but most of the kit companies start
you out with the tail feathers first, because it's a good place to learn the
skills you'll need before you get to something as important as the wings.
If you screw up the horizontal stab, you haven't lost much, but a wing is
major trouble.  If you're new to composites, you really ought to "warm up"
on the tail feathers first.  And I can't help but think that spruce spar
material is a lot easier to store than two 96" x 48" wings!  I sure am tired
of moving my wings around...
