I removed the wheels on the Stang a few weeks ago to shim the axles. When I
took the wheels off of the axles the bearings could just be taken out with
your fingers. The taper is to the inside of the wheel.

Do I have to disassemble the wheels to get the bearings out of a Cleveland
5x5.00 wheel?

The answer is No you do not have to separate the wheel halves to take out
the bearings. You do have to remove the wheels from the axles and first you
have to remove the brakes.
