NetHeads,

Before I went to bed last night, I started wondering about one of my brake
bleeders. I drove off the road at one point to let some traffic by, and when I
pulled back up on the road, the brake disk scraped the edge of the pavement.
This morning I went to the hangar to check on, it brake bleeder is missing
completely. I couldn't get up under it to check, but it either got ripped
completely out of the $300 caliper, or sheared off. I'd have ordered a new
caliper (just to make sure I can fly to the Gathering), but AS&S is out of
stock with a 4 week lead time. I did order new bleeder seats and screws, which
will be delivered tomorrow FedEx. My question is, does anybody have a 30-9C
caliper sitting around doing nothing that I could borrow if I get in a jam
early next week?

If so, and you don't mind me borrowing it, ship it to me. Post to the net that
you're doing it, so I don't get more than one! I only need the caliper itself
(and bleeder screws, if installed). Ship to: 296 Taylor Denton Lane,
Harvest, AL 35749. I'll pay shipping both ways, but I don't need it FedEx'ed,
I don't think. If I could get it by Tuesday of next week that would get me
there, I think. I may not need it, but I want a backup plan, in case my
caliper is terminal...
