Finally after a month of procrastinating I installed my spars in the center
section. The Langford Templates worked great. With the use of a "smart level"
I only had to shim the rear spar. The forward spar went in snug and measured
level and square to the tail. The Template held the rear spar in place until I
was able to get the correct shims in place under the spar. While the T88 is
drying I continue to check the entire installation. It's nice to go out and
hear the level beep when I put it on the level line. One note I am using the
5048 with a forward spar height of 8.19". Looks really high. Can't wait to try
it on. Looks like I will be reclining in my lounge chair while in flight.
Yal have fun in Mt. Vernon I'll miss ya.
