That's what I use and it works just fine. I bought a used boat trailer, 12" wheels, tandem axles, and put three runners on it using 2" X 10" boards. I have hauled my KR several times, an Acro Sport II several times, an RV4, a Long Eze, Tailwind projects, Kitfox, Zenith 601, and I forget what else. Two people can load. One on the winch to draw in on and the other to steer. Tie down straps to the frame and timber chalks screwed directly to the deck. The trailer started life as a trailer for a river jon boat so it was long and flat. I got my new Lowrance 500 Airmap yesterday. Now I have to figure out how to use it. $231 total including shipping. LC Flight in Jefferson City, Mo (800 771 3901) has them for $325 and I had my $100 rebate from Lowrance for my old Airmap 300. It includes external antenna, cigarette lighter adapter, several Ram adjustable mounts, Map Create 6 software, an MMC card reader with USB connector, a free padded case, and I guess that's it. With Map Create I can load highway maps and waterway maps along with searchable points of interest like hotels, restaurants, etc. Way more than I'll ever need or will learn how to use.
