  Rather than going for a 60 inch jobby, have you considered going for a 3
  blade prop - perhaps a big fat 52 inch paddler.

  It would probably be significantly quieter as well.

  I'm not a fan of plastic  (carbon props)
  There is an old saying regarding props
  3 is for show and 2 is for go.

  And as I said earlier, my RG2000 ( around 200ft/lbs of torque needs a
large dia prop.

  Thanks Pete, I will inquire about the 3 blad from Bolly, and VW engines,
just to see what they say.
