As some of you may remember, I removed and resurfaced my WAFs, and for
that, I had to remove a few ribs from the wings and the stubwings (I have
premolded wing skins, so the ribs are fairly accessible). I built two
types of replacement ribs: the inner ones are made of thick (50mm)
extruded polystyrene foam; the outer are made of thinner polystyrene foam
(30mm), plus one layer of 2.8mm plywood.

I now want to seal the ribs with Micro, so as to make them more resistant
during installation. Questions:

- Must I sand the extruded polystyrene foam, or is the Micro going to
stick to it as it is?
- How can I glue the ribs back in place? Should I use Micro, or Flox, or
anything else? Must I insert them as a tight fit, or leave a gap for the
glue?

Any ideas?
