Guys,
Having spent the last 25 years in and out of Fla, over a period of
time I burned some auto gas in several different airplanes. The
problem I had, is auto gas will vaporlock at a much lower
temperature. If I flew my Midget Mustang or Cassutt in someplace, let
them sit for a while and then took off again. They were eligible to
quit soon after takeoff. It seemed that maybe the heat sink while
they were sitting hot caused it. Be careful with these tight cowled
little airplanes in the summer. Bobby
