Bobby,

So sorry to hear of your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. You and your
Dad were regarded as very special members of the KR group when you showed up
at the Gatherings. Both of you exemplified the highest respect, honesty,
and integrity, when you arrived. Your Dad had that special personality
which made him very approachable and willing to share his knowledge and
experiences with the other guys.

I may have some video clips from footage I took over the years. If I run
across them, I'll dump them on a VHS tape for you.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know of your Dad's passing.

Ed

Subject: KR> Flyng with the Angels

> I just wanted you guys to know that my Dad (Bob Muse, Sr.) passed away
this morning at about 4:00 AM at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. He
had suffered from several minor strokes and other complications over the
past several months. Daddy was soon to be 84 years old but he was still
flying his KR (N28RM) at 81 when he decided to convert it from the original
retractable gear to a fixed gear. Daddy would tell anyone that asked about
how much did it cost to build his KR that it cost about $5,000. The truth
was he had spent only about $3200 building his KR. The reason is that he
built it to the plans as much as possible and he built everything (and I
mean everything) himself, including the radio (from a kit).
>
> Daddy was not only my best friend but a real supporter of the KR and
everyone that was associated with the KR and especially KR Builders.
>
> My greatest joy was to have my Dad work with me on my KR and then when we
able to fly wingtip-to-wingtip was a dream come true. I was so lucky to
have a dad like Daddy.

> Daddy is now Flying with the Angels.
>
> A special Request: If anyone has a picture of N28RM, please post it so
everyone can share his love of flying and his love of the KR.
>
> Thank You, Bobby Muse, Jr.
